The most complete tour package to Alaska ... See three of the five regions.  Essence of wilderness: mountains, valleys, and fjords; realm of glaciers and icebergs.  Indescribably magnificent scenery, the abundance and variety of wildlife - land, sea, and in the air and the near mystical aura created by such vast reaches of wild, uninhabited space.  Where nature reigns supreme ... Alaska!

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Motorcoach to Indianapolis.  Upon arrival at the airport, you are responsible for your baggage check in and fees (approximately $25 a bag).  Fly to Fairbanks, Alaska our home for two nights.  Fairbanks is now Alaska’s second largest metropolis known as the “Golden Heart City,” a testimony to the warmth of the people. The Alaska Highway, trans-Alaska oil pipeline, military bases, mining, and the University of Alaska are all integral to Fairbanks’ past and future. You will find Fairbanks, the Last Frontier, inviting, invigorating and awe-inspiring.
Day 2 This morning, enjoy a city tour of Fairbanks.  Stop at the Alaska pipeline.  Visit the University of Alaska Museum of the North to view exhibits on wildlife, gold, northern lights, and more.  Afternoon cruise down the Chena and Tanana River aboard the Riverboat Discovery, cruise the great rivers of Alaska! Your three-hour cruise will take you into the heart of Alaska and introduce you to a family who has made the rivers of Alaska a way of life for five generations. You will see a bush floatplane takeoff alongside the boat, visit the home and kennels of the late four-time Iditarod winner Susan Butcher and see her champion sled dogs in action. Be immersed into the ancient Athabascan Indian culture when our Alaskan Native Guides take you on a personalized tour of the Chena Indian Village. The Binkley family invites you to experience a slice of Alaskan life!  This evening enjoy an Alaska Salmon Bake and Palace Theater with the “Golden Heart Review.”
Day 3 Travel on the world famous Alaska Railroad Dome Car Train from Fairbanks to Denali National Park.  This afternoon, explore Denali National Park on a Tundra Wilderness Tour searching for bear, moose, caribou, sheep, and many others.  Overnight just outside the park.
Day 4 Today, we make our way south to Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage with time for lunch and exploring. Anchorage flaunts its mountains: The Chugach seem to rise just like that out of the backyards of the city’s eastern neighborhoods.  So much of the rest of the scenery is water.  The west of the city is bounded by the Cook Inlet, the north and south by its two major branches: the Knik Arm and Turnagin Arm.  As we travel onto Seward, we will enjoy the continued sights that make Alaska so breathtaking. Overnight in Seward.
Day 5 Seward:  This morning, free time to explore the port city of Seward.  Seward is perched on a peninsula where the ice age has had lasting power. Where ocean and mountains meet, the frosty waters and rugged coast of Resurrection Bay sustain birds, sea mammals, and other marine life.  Check out some of the local stores or visit the Sea Life Center.  This afternoon board the Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas ship to begin our seven day Southbound Alaska and Hubbard Glacier cruise.  Radiance of the Seas offers sweeping ocean views, a dazzling at-sea experience.  Panoramic vistas, seven new dining experiences, poolside movie screen, complimentary onboard productions, and duty-free designer shops make for a perfect home away from home.
Day 6 Cruising Hubbard Glacier:  Get acquainted  with our ship and enjoy all the scenery as we start our cruise.   Hubbard Glacier is 76 miles long, 7 miles wide and 350 feet above the water line where it meets the bay. Watch as massive chunks of ice crash into the bay, a process known as calving that the Tlingit people call "White Thunder."  See the Hubbard Glacier in warmth through your ship's floor-to-ceiling windows!
Day 7 Juneau: Surrounded by fjords, forest and snow-capped mountains, Juneau is one gorgeous state capital. Its historic downtown harkens back to its gold-rush origins and you can still pan for gold. But nature is the priceless treasure.  Together as a group, we will explore the Mendenhall Glacier.  Enjoy a narrated motorcoach drive along Juneau's Gastineau Channel and through the Mendenhall Valley on the way to the blue ice of the Mendenhall Glacier. Pass by Gold Creek, where gold was discovered in 1880, and the Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge.  Soon, the valley slowly reveals the magnificent treasure hidden at its end.  Spend time at the glacier, walk the trails, snap exquisite photos and explore the visitor center.
Day 8 Skagway: The great Klondike Rush lives on in Skagway’s charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot.
Day 9 Icy Straight Point:  The Huna Tlingit welcome visitors to Chichagof Island, where you can experience their rich culture and unspoiled wilderness. Inside the 1912 cannery complex visit the free museum.
Day 10 Ketchikan:  Ketchikan is the gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument, whose landscapes and dramatic seascapes can only be reached by plane or boat.  The Salmon Capital is a hub for sports fishing and home to a collection of totem poles.
Day 11 Cruising Inside Passage:  The fabled Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls.  The scenery is unbelievable, with forest in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative towns loaded with history, culture, and adventure.  With most of Southwest Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world. Cruising through the Inside passage is what has made Alaska so popular.
Day 12 Depart for the airport to fly from Vancouver, British Columbia to Indianapolis.  Upon arrival at the airport, you are responsible for your baggage check in and fees (approximately $25 a bag).  Motorcoach to Terre Haute.
