This tour is designed for kids ... 4 to 104.  Spend the day exploring Fair Oaks Farm.  Visit the exhibit space, barns, and tour both farms on their buses.  We are excited to step inside the modern pig farm and learn about pig farming in the most unique and transparent way.  You're sure to leave with something to squeal about!
FEATURES:  Fair Oaks Farms Dairy Adventure - Offers exhibits that explain how the dairy industry protects the environment, cares for the cows, and ensures the highest quality milk possible. • Dairy Barn Tour - Ride through one of their ten barns surrounded by 3,000 gentle holstein cows.  Witness from a controlled observation suite how 72 cows merrily get milked all at once on a giant carousel.  Learn how manure produces electricity. • Dairy Museum - Sixty interactive exhibits plus the 3D/4D movie. • Fair Oaks Farms Pig Adventure - Step off their pig bus and get hog wild in the introductory room full of fun and exciting surprises.  See how pig farming began, learn about their current farming families, and get ready for a full interactive experience! • Farrowing Barn Tour - This unique facility is designed to showcase the miraculous creation of life.  Walk through the corridor and step inside one of the many viewing pods to witness the birth of piglets right before your eyes. • The Gestation Barn - Watch as pigs learn how to use the modern Electronic Sow Feeder System.  Learn the difference between a sow and gilt and have the opportunity to learn about the modern day pregnancy practices. • Fair Oaks Farms Crop Adventure - Discover how corn, soy, and wheat improves our lives.  See and touch the high tech tools farmers use and learn what soil doctors do. • Cheese and Yogurt - Shop for fresh produce.  Lunch will be on your own at Fair Oaks Dairy. • Your lunch options are the Farmhouse Restaurant, the Cowfe, or the Dairycatessan.  If you wish, you can bring your own picnic lunch from home.  (You are welcome to bring a cooler for your purchases.)
