Experience the beauty of the Biltmore and the grandeur of their Christmas celebration on this pre-holiday getaway.  This is a value price tour by traveling on weekdays plus the extra bonus of less people at the Biltmore!

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Depart Terre Haute traveling to Asheville, North Carolina, our home for three nights.
Day 2 Today, we will spend the day at the Biltmore House.  Completed in 1895, George Vanderbilt's French château is a real life wonder.  Explore the acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.  Take a self-guided Christmas at the Biltmore Daytime Tour.  George Vanderbilt introduced his new home to family and friends on Christmas Eve 1895 with a wonderful celebration that is continued today.  Enjoy America’s largest home decorated with dozens of Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths, bows, poinsettias, miles of evergreen garland, and thousands of ornaments.  Next, we will visit Antler Hill Village and Winery.  The village connects the estate’s present and past, providing a relaxing place for dining, shopping, and historical exhibits.  Time to rest prior to dinner.
Day 3 This morning we will visit Thomas Wolfe Memorial State Historic Site.  This home was novelist Thomas Wolfe’s boyhood home and setting for his 1929 novel “Look Homeward, Angel.”  Spend time this afternoon at the brand new Asheville Outlets, 75 name-brand stores, you are sure to find the perfect gift for everyone on your Christmas list!  Dinner this evening will be at Deerpark Restaurant, which is housed in a historic barn original to the Biltmore Estate.  After dinner, enjoy a Candlelight Christmas Evening.  Explore the Biltmore House during holiday evenings when fireplaces fill the grand home with a warm glow, accenting delicate ornaments, and priceless treasures.
Day 4 All good things must to come to an end as we arrive home this evening.
