Travel with TURNER as we explore the 35th Annual American Quilting Society Quilt Show and Contest at the Convention Center.  Quilts not only tell stories of their makers, but of cultures from around the world.  Young and old alike can appreciate the artistry behind the stitches and fabrics that decorate the walls.  Upon arrival in Paducah, we will have time for shopping at Hancock Fabrics.  Then, spend the day exploring (at your leisure) the exhibits of the American Quilting Society Quilt Show.  If you wish to venture to other exhibit sights, then hop aboard the city of Paducah’s free transportation shuttle.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Depart Terre Haute traveling to Shipshewana, Indiana.  Our day will be spent shopping and exploring the Shipshewana Auction and Flea Market and the shops of Downtown Shipshewana. • Davis Mercantile - Featuring over 24 shops located on four floors that are  easily accessible by elevator.  You’ll find craft shops, gifts, kids toys, apparel, candles, and more. • Lolly’s Fabrics - Features over 2,500 bolts of the finest quilting material around. • Yoder Department Store - Where locals and visitors find a unique blend of hard-to-find items. Whether shopping for fabric, clothing, or footwear, you will always find friendly and knowledgeable service. • Shipshewana Auction and Flea Market - Welcome to the home of the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market!  Find hundreds of vendors selling everything from fresh fruit to handcrafted furniture.  This small community comes alive with travelers from all over to visit this “Do Not Miss” Hoosier tradition.  Time to check in and relax at the hotel prior to dinner at Blue Gate Restaurant and Bakery.  Enjoy a family style meal and shop in the bakery for treats to take home.
Day 2 Today, we will enjoy a Guided Tour of Amish Country backroads, our stops will include: E & S Sales Bulk Foods - The area’s largest bulk food store. Spices, dried grains, candies, soup mixes, homemade noodles, nuts, snacks, and unusual items you can’t find just anywhere. (You are welcome to bring a cooler for your purchases.)Camel Dairy Farm - It is one of only five in the United States where we will learn about the wonders of camel milk. • Lambright Chimes - Ever wonder why you hear so many beautiful sounds from a swaying group of pipes?  Watch how these fabulous creations are crafted by hand. • Teaberry Wood Products - A family run wood working business that specializes in beautifully handcrafted wooden puzzles and baskets.  Lunch will be in an Amish home prior to traveling to Terre Haute.
