A springtime stroll in our gardens is a delight to the senses. The brilliance of thousands of tulips, the sounds of live music played in our historic Walled Garden, and the scents of such flowering trees as magnolia and cherry combine to create an unforgettable experience. • Biltmore Winery - Explore the historic Winery housed in the renovated Biltmore Dairy by strolling through the cellars and getting a bird’s eye view of the state-of-the-art winemaking process. Then, step into the spacious tasting room where you can sample a wide variety of wines specially crafted by winemakers Bernard Delille and Sharon Fenchak. With nearly 50 different wines, there is a wine to suit everyone. • Chatlos Memorial Chapel and Visitors Center at Billy Graham’s Training Center at the Cove - Used specifically for presenting the ministry of The Cove to visitors. Volunteers provide guided tours for individuals and groups. A typical tour is approximately one hour in length and includes the following: Eckerd Seminar Room - A five-minute film that presents an overview of the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove’s ministry. Pictorial Display - View the “Ambassador for God Around the World - Billy Graham” display as well as a model of The Cove’s facilities. Chapel - A Tour Guide talks about the ministry of The Cove and shares interesting facts about the Chatlos Memorial Chapel, including building design and history of the furnishings. Ruth’s Prayer Garden - Adjacent to the Chapel, the garden is designed to offer a peaceful place for prayer and meditation amid the natural beauty and serenity of The Cove. Honoring the memory of Ruth Bell Graham. • Blue Ridge Parkway - Offing exhibits on the natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the region. Visitors traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway can now make one stop to learn about the entire 469 miles and history of the Parkway. • Ashville Folk Art Center - A must stop for art lovers is the Folk Art Center in Asheville, featuring the finest in traditional and contemporary craft of the Southern Appalachians. Shop the wonderful Southern Highland Craft Guild store with a big variety of creations from hundreds of artists, browse rotating exhibitions in several galleries and watch an artist at work.
