FEATURES: Santa Parade - This is a “must see” event. Main Street comes alive with the music, pageantry, and spectacle of one of the best loved Christmas Traditions events. Cheer and celebrate as all of the Christmas Legends and carolers come together for a special procession. • Christmas Traditions Free time on Main Street for Shopping - The street is alive with excitement as cries of "Merry Christmas," "Good Yule," and "Humbug" fill the air. Carolers stroll the streets, the smell of roasting chestnuts fill the air and jingle bells can be heard. Christmas characters and Santas have come from around the world to celebrate the season. To help you remember those stories, each character and Santa has a trading card featuring their photo and story for you to collect as a keepsake. While shopping in over 75 stores along the brick paved street take in the patriotic pageantry of The Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps. • Christmas Traditions Night Lights • City Tour - The guide, in period dress, will step-on to our coach for a historical tour of St. Charles. See Missouri’s First State Capitol, the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne, the Foundry Art Centre, the beginning of the Boone’s Lick Trail, and many historic buildings dating from the 1790’s to the early 1900’s. • Group Class at Old Town Spice Shoppe • First Missouri State Capitol - Tour the State Historic Site where Missouri’s first legistlature met for five years. The building is completely restored and furnished as it appeared from 1821-1826.
