On 1/4/2022 we secured airfare that is valid until Jan 12th.  Reservations after Jan 12th will be incur higher airfare pricing.  

This tour was designed in conjunction with our friends who specialize in adventure tours.  Depending on the size of our group, we reserve the right to travel in sprinter vans instead of a motorcoach.  The elevation average is between 6,800 and 8,000 feet but there will be minimal elevation change daily. To get the most value out of the design of this tour we will walk three to five miles each day on improved trails and boardwalks.  You can choose to walk less and still see the attractions but it will not be up close and personal viewing. Some of our lunches will be box lunch/picnic style to make the most of our day and surroundings.
 

Sunday, August 28, 2022 (One Night Stay in Salt Lake City, UT)
Depart Terre Haute traveling to Indianapolis International Airport for our flight to Salt Lake City, Utah.  You are responsible for your baggage check in (fees are included in tour price). Meal Money will be given for a meal as we travel. Arrive at the Salt Lake Airport and transfer to hotel.     Meals: Meal $

Monday, August 29, 2022 (Two Night Stay in Jackson, WY)
Early morning departure as we make our way to Jackson, Wyoming.  Our local guide will teach us about the unique geology and history of Northern Utah, Southeastern Idaho and Western Wyoming on the way to Jackson. Arrive in historic Jackson and discover the Old West.  Dinner tonight will be at one of the fantastic local restaurants in Jackson.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
 
Tuesday, August 30, 2022
This morning we enter Grand Teton National Park and start our day with a wonderful Float Trip down the Snake River. Begin floating outside the southern boundary of Grand Teton National Park at the historic Snake River Ranch, offering an experience that no other outfitter in Jackson has. With special access to the Snake River through our partnership with the Snake River Ranch, enjoy panoramic views of the Teton Range, Gros Ventre Range and Snake River Range. Our boatmen do all the work on this float trip, so you can relax and take it all in! Then enjoy wildlife and photography opportunities as you tour the park including Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, Coulter Bay and more.  Grand Teton National Park boasts 310,000 acres of lush valley floors, mountain meadows, alpine lakes and the rising peaks of the Grand Teton Mountain Range. It will be an afternoon of hiking and wildlife watching. Return to Jackson for a relaxing evening in town.   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
 
Wednesday August 31, 2022  (Three Night Stay in West Yellowstone, MT)
Drive north through Grand Teton to Yellowstone National Park. Home to an incomparable combination of natural beauty, rugged wilderness, majestic peaks, abundant wildlife and the world’s largest concentration of geysers and thermal features, it’s no wonder Yellowstone was named America’s first national park. From hiking to  scenic wildlife tours, there are plenty of things to do across its 2 million acres. The iconic spots - Old Faithful, Lower Falls and Yellowstone Lake - may be familiar from paintings and photographs, but seeing them in person is a humbling, enthralling experience.  Today, we explore the West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Valley and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Travel over Dunraven Pass and make your way to the Lamar Valley for evening wildlife viewing.  Continue to West Yellowstone, Montana.   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Thursday September 1, 2022 
Today, we visit Mammoth Hot Springs and return to the Lamar Valley for wildlife viewing.  We will also visit Norris Geyser Basin for hiking and exploring before traveling through the Madison River Valley back to West Yellowstone. Visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.                    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
 
Friday September 2, 2022
Today, we will focus on the Geyser Basins, explore Fountain Paint Pots, Old Faithful and the Old Faithful Lodge for Lunch. Afterwards explore Grand Prismatic Spring, Firehole Geyser Basin, Black Sand Basin, and other areas. There will be some great hikes and multiple opportunities to enjoy watching the wildlife within the park. Evening Free in West Yellowstone. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
 
Saturday September 3, 2022 (One Night Stay in Salt Lake City, UT)
This morning depart the Yellowstone area as you travel south to explore Island Park with stops at Big Springs and Mesa Falls.  Continue south through the potato fields of Idaho and then along the shores of the Great Salt Lake.  Later in the day we bid farewell to your local guide and driver  as we overnight in Salt Lake City.   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
 
Sunday September 4, 2022
Transfer to Salt Lake International Airport and board our plane for our flight to Indianapolis International Airport. You are responsible for your baggage check in (fees are included in tour price). Upon arrival in Indianapolis, we board our TURNER coach for our ride back to Terre Haute. Meal money included for meal enroute home.  Meals: Breakfast, Meal $
