Southeastern Wisconsin is a treasure trove of natural beauty and fun historical attractions.  This tour includes a diverse list of attractions that showcase this amazing area.  A boat and wagon tour through the region of carved gorges and deep canyons in the glacier-carved sandstones.  We will spend a day at the Circus World Grounds where we will explore Wisconsin's rich circus heritage at the original winter quarters home of the Ringling Bros. truly is “Wisconsin’s National Treasure!” So much to see and so much fun to have!
 
FEATURES: Circus World Big Top Performance - Saddle Up Buckaroos as we “Go West” under the big top for 2023! Watch elephants and acrobats as they hold a happy hoedown with horses, aerialists, dogs, llamas, and clowns.   Celebrate the mammoth memories created with the biggest stars of the big top…the elephants!  2023 will be their final season at Circus World before they head off to retirement. •  Dinky Dew Musical Revue - Join the fun as we raise a ruckus with  new, rootin’ - tootin’ musical variety show!  Hoop and holler along as the cast shakes, rattles, cranks and honks on a crazy, colorful collection of mesmerizing music makers;  blended with captivating comedy and vibrant artistry.   Adding to the melodic mischief will be Chase Culp with his comedic turns and musical mayhem. •  Sawdust, Spangles and Dreams -  Throughout the later 1800’s and early 1900’s, the Ringling Bros. World’s Greatest Shows would return to their Baraboo winter quarters following their season on the road. While observing this diverse collection of treasures – take in the unique history of this National Landmark site.  At Circus World, you’ll be mesmerized by many things… the largest collection of authentic wood-carved parade wagons, remarkable rail equipment, captivating costuming and astonishing artistry to name a few.  •  Upper Dells Boat Tour - In the upper Dells, the section of river above the dam in Wisconsin Dells, you’ll journey northward, cruising through an awesome path cut by ancient glaciers.  You’ll pass under pine-crowned cliffs, navigate winding river narrows, and view iconic sandstone formations like Chimney Rock, Blackhawk’s Profile and Romance Cliff.  But your adventure is just beginning!  Two shore landings beckon, ports of call you’ll experience only on Dells Boat Tours.  • The H.H. Bennett Studio - Tour the darkroom and collections of this famous artist. He's credited with putting The Dells on the map back in the day, with a collection of photographs that captured the raw beauty of the Wisconsin River and its surroundings. • International Crane Foundation - Working worldwide to conserve cranes and the ecosystems, watersheds, and flyways on which they depend.  They provide knowledge, leadership, and inspiration to engage people in resolving threats to cranes and their diverse landscapes. Learn about the world’s cranes, take a hike on their nature trails, and browse nature-themed items from around the world in our gift shop. •  Lost Canyon Wagon Tours - Enjoy tour-riding through a magnificent mile of scenic cliff-walled gorges in comfortable yet quaint horse-drawn carriages.  Starting at the south shore of Lake Delton, this half-hour trip allows the opportunity to explore this natural treasure’s canyon passages.  At some of the deeper parts of this canyon, the sheer rock and sandstone wall have not felt the touch of the sun in more than 50,000 years. The beauty of the Draft horses that pull the carriages is only topped by the majesty of the canyon itself. This is one of the original attractions that made Wisconsin Dells a major attraction and is still a must-see today!
