Our visit to Brown County will start at the Brown County Inn, a mainstay in scenic Brown County, Indiana since it opened in 1974. The 65,000 square foot hotel, restaurant, and bar became a gathering place for visitors and local families alike. Over the years, the hotel housed Indy 500 sponsors and country music celebrities. In 1975, a banquet hall, known as “Town Hall”, was added. Our lunch will be a two entrée homestyle buffet. After lunch and time to explore this Historic Inn we will board the motorcoach for a short ride into Nashville. Visitors love to leisurely browse through the quaint and crafty shops. In the shops of Little Nashville, the experienced shopper can find original watercolor paintings, sculptures, toys from yesterday, stained glass art, solid wood furniture, wood carvings, metal sculptures, pewter, handblown glass, custom jewelry, interesting clothing, wind chimes and custom bird lodging. You will love the seasonal decorations, and we have plenty of room to purchase some and bring home under the motorcoach. Shopping in Brown County Indiana can be a delightful adventure!
