Our Mackinac Island tour is designed to give you the option of two places to stay on Mackinac Island ... the famous Grand Hotel or the charming, quaint bed and breakfast, the Inn on Mackinac. Planned during the celebration that blends the Island’s historic varieties of lilacs - many of which were brought here during the Colonial era.  A bonus to this tour is time spent in the Bavarian Town of Frankenmuth.

America’s Summer Place!  Spectacular views from a rocking chair overlooking the straits of Mackinac from the world’s largest porch.  The hotel is rich in history, a place where time moves at the pace of horse-drawn carriages and bicycles.  Take a step away from it all and unwind in the warm hospitality that has been charming guests since 1887.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Travel to Mackinaw City, Michigan where we  board Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry and arrive on the island for our two night stay at the Grand Hotel.  Dinner is included at the Grand Hotel.  After 6:30 PM, the Grand Hotel has formal dress requirements.
Day 2 Rest and relax this morning prior to a horse drawn carriage tour of the island followed by lunch at the Grand Hotel.  The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy on your own.  You may tour the acres of pristine beauty of the island by carriage or bicycle.  Promenade the lakeshore boardwalk in the moonlight or simply marvel in the wonders of pampered relaxation.  Dinner is included at the Grand Hotel.
Day 3 The morning is yours to enjoy.  Before you know it, our time of grace and grand passions on Mackinac Island will be over.  Board the ferry and travel back to Mackinaw City and our TURNER Motorcoach, traveling south to the Bavarian town of Frankenmuth. Dinner at the Bavarian Inn before our overnight stay in Birch Run.
Day 4 Time to shop at Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland before we start our journey home, with lunch and rest stops along the way.
