We love traveling to this area of Illinois and are excited to offer a totally new tour. This tour combines hands on experiences, along with touring the most breathtaking estate, and two nights of exceptional entertainment. This is a complete tour package as it includes every meal plus you get to take home the sock monkey you create! 

FEATURES: The Sanfilippo Estate - Sits on 57 acres of land and features one of the world's finest collections of restored, automatic musical instruments and other turn-of-the-century antiques. Feel the impressive sound that 80 ranks of pipe make in the most versatile orchestral theatre pipe organ ever built and be amazed by the grandiose beauty of the French inspired Eden Palais carousel, originally built in 1890. • Jeorge Holmes-Chicagoland's Premier Entertainer - A private performance just for our group. His baritone-tenor range varies from Elvis to Pavarotti, from Blues to Broadway, from Pop to Opera, from Christian Gospel to Big-Band....and in-between! • Long Grove - Surrounded by the charm of a small town, nestled within the cobblestone-lined streets are the unique boutique shops, adventures are waiting to be explored. • Long Grove Confectionary - We will take part in their famous Chocolate Factory Tour! It’s a perfect tour for kids ages 5 to 105! Watch as they create a dazzling array of products, smell the sweet buttery caramel, and taste the rich chocolate. Long Grove Confectionery is a leader in the candy industry, known for their quality products, attention to detail, and creative packaging. The factory tour includes a video presentation, a view of production, and the opportunity to shop in our store filled with luscious, premium quality chocolates at refreshingly low prices. • Sock Monkey Museum - The Museum houses the world’s largest handmade Sock Monkey collection, displayed on two floors. We will view the Sock Monkeys in many different settings. We will learn about their history and the Rockford Red Heel Socks they are made from and find out why Sock Monkeys are still popular today. There are exhibits about the history of socks through the ages, along with fun sock facts. After we finish our tour we will make our own sock monkey to bring home as a souvenir. • Todd Hunt Presents "The Making of I Love Lucy" - He is a Speaker, humorist and historian, offering "Remember when..." A nostalgic trip down Memory Lane, revisiting favorite TV shows, childhood candy and toys, vintage ads and more. "The Making of I Love Lucy" is a behind-the-scenes look at how the ground-breaking television series was created. • Lamb's Farm - A place like no other and a forever favorite of Turner’s. They are a group of people passionate about helping individuals with developmental disabilities find a warm and welcoming place to grow, achieve their goals, and embrace the life they dream of. For visitors, Lamb’s Farm is a chance to connect and find common ground - a place where understanding blossoms, and lives are enriched through meaningful experiences. It’s a community where everyone is valued, and growth happens together. It’s a place where lives change. The Magnolia Café is not like any other restaurant! It’s a place where you can enjoy a delicious homemade meal while receiving the best service from their dedicated and attentive employees which includes participants at the Farm! At the Country Store and Bakery you will be greeted by their talented participant bakers - adults with developmental disabilities who take pride in baking and packaging the delicious treats that fill their shelves. Every cookie, chocolate, and loaf of bread is made with care, creating sweet moments for you while supporting meaningful work. They are known for: famous butter cookies, decadent chocolate turtlettes and toffee, sweet jams and crunchy granola, freshly baked breads, and delicious ice cream.
