This tour is planned as a long weekend break at Gaylord Opryland Resort.   We will explore Nashville Friday afternoon and Sunday morning but Saturday is about all things Gaylord Opryland. With its soaring atriums, nearly 20 restaurants and bars, plus shopping and entertainment, Gaylord Opryland isn't just a place to stay--it is an experience unto itself. Located next to the legendary Grand Ole Opry House, this iconic hotel is known for its nine acres of indoor atriums featuring lush plants, winding pathways and waterfalls. There is even a Delta River with flatboat rides  (fee) inside the hotel. Amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an upscale indoor/outdoor resort water attraction (fee), a full-service spa (fee), and more.  Gaylord Opryland offered us an exceptional rate so this tour is Traditional Guest Rooms ONLY. Same beautifully appointed room where you can relax in the tasteful and recently renovated décor. These rooms offer an exterior view. No Atrium rooms available.

FEATURES:  Choice of two of three Museums located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. (Preselect two museum at the time of reservation). You will walk between the museums because of their close proximity and arrive at Puckett’s for our dinner. (This is approximatively 8/10ths of a mile. • The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum - Called the “Smithsonian of country music,” celebrated for its broad cultural impact, educational mission, and unrivaled collection of historically important artifacts related to country music. Chartered by the state of Tennessee in 1964. First opened in 1967 on Nashville’s Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum launched its current downtown location in 2001. In 2014, the Museum unveiled a $100 million expansion that doubled its footprint. The Museum now encompasses 350,000 square feet of exhibition galleries, archival storage, retail stores, and event space.  • The Johnny Cash Museum - Officially authorized by the estate of Johnny Cash, the museum features the most comprehensive collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. • Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum - The largest exhibition dedicated to Parton to date. Spanning the entire third floor of the Storyteller  hotel, more than 20,000 square feet, the museum is designed to immerse visitors in her extraordinary journey, featuring curated exhibits chronicling her rise "from the top of the mountains to the top of the world." Guests will gain unprecedented insight into her decades-spanning career across music, film, television, and philanthropy, as well as the personal values of family and faith that remain central to her story. • Pucketts - A beloved favorite for both Nashville natives and out-of-town visitors looking to soak up the sounds and flavors of Music City. With live music, Southern hospitality, and classic comfort food, Puckett’s Nashville delivers the ultimate Southern experience. • Nashville Trolley Tour - The best way to see Nashville. Traveling through the streets of Nashville, you’ll get a close up view of the sites that make this world clad city one of the top visited places in the United States. Nissan Stadium, Ryman Auditorium, the historic Arcade, Music City Walk of Fame, The Tennessee State Capitol, The Parthenon at Centennial Park, Belmont Mansion, Music Row and more. The knowledgeable Tour Conductor will provide information and stories about all the places we will see. • Margaritaville - Great authentic southern food and the caliber of music that's expected in Nashville. From a stairway with real piano keys for steps to the Chill Bar's license plate walls, they have a lot of character and great atmosphere.
