Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Sunday December 6: Terre Haute to New York City
Depart Terre Haute (early morning) traveling to an International Airport for our flight to New York City (area). You are responsible for your baggage check in and fees.  Upon arrival, meet our motorcoach for our transfer into New York City. Upon arrival at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square (1535 Broadway), we will remove all luggage and carryon's to be held until our return later in the day. Reboard our motorcoach and travel to  Bryant Park (bus departs for the day). At your leisure you will explore Bryant Park’s Winter Village. Every corner of Bryant Park is adorned in festive decor and the sweet scent of seasonal treats wafting through the air, the Winter Village is sure to get you in the holiday spirit of cheer and joy. Enjoy lunch on your own in the park or one of the many restaurants across the streets. Then, you can walk a block to visit the Main Branch of the New York Public Library. The New York Public Library welcomes you to the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. This library has symbolized the democratic ideal of free and open access to knowledge since it opened to the public in 1911. Today, the building welcomes millions of visitors a year from across the world who find inspiration in its majestic public spaces, unparalleled research collections, and vibrant programs and exhibitions. If interested you can walk two blocks and visit Grand Central Terminal, one of the most-visited destinations in NYC for a reason: history, architecture, dining, and shopping, all under one magnificent roof. We will gather as a group and walk our way back to our hotel (approximately one-half mile.) This walk will give you a great over view of what will be home home base for three nights. (We cannot check-in until 4:30 PM). After a short time in our room we will walk to a dinner in the Theater District. After dinner,  you have the evening to enjoy.

Day 2 Monday, December 7: New York City
We will walk everywhere today … no motorcoach available. Meet our local guide and head to the heart of the city: Midtown and Rockefeller Center. Our first stop is St. Patrick’s Cathedral known as "America's Parish Church", is the largest Roman Catholic cathedral in the United States! Next, we walk to New York Radio City Music Hall for a backstage tour. Learn about this historical famous music hall and meet a Rockette (pictures are permitted). Enjoy the spirit of Christmas in Rockefeller Center. Grab a bite to eat, watch the ice skaters and look up to see the light show on the Sak’s Fifth Avenue Façade across the street. This “city within a city” went up during the worst days of the Great Depression, providing jobs for more than 40,000 people. As Christmas neared during the first year of construction, the workers erected a modest sized tree on the site and a tradition was born. As you will see, today’s tree is anything but modest! After lunch, we will visit The Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Top of the Rock’s three levels of indoor and outdoor observation decks deliver spectacular, unobstructed views of the city skyline. With terraces facing east, west, north, and south, Top of the Rock’s panoramic sights make it the ultimate observation deck in NYC. Say good-bye to our local guide as we make our way to Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular featuring the world famous Rockettes. A Christmas time must see! After the Christmas Spectacular, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Dinner is at a restaurant of your choice with included meal money.
