This highly anticipated exhibition transforms both our beautiful outdoor gardens and inviting indoor Sculpture Galleries with the world-renowned artistry of Dale Chihuly. Stroll through the gardens and discover monumental glass sculptures, vibrant reeds, and stunning site-specific installations that harmoniously blend art with nature, creating breathtaking moments around every corner. Step inside and explore over 40 years of Chihuly’s creative journey. The exhibition features his most celebrated series, including Baskets, Macchia, Seaforms, Putti, Ikebana, Persians, Venetians, Cylinders and Rotolo. You’ll also find original drawings that provide a unique window into Chihuly’s artistic process and inspiration. Each work showcases his deep appreciation for diverse cultures and his innovative approach to glass art.  CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens is an immersive experience designed to inspire wonder and spark imagination, in visitors of all ages. Whether you are a devoted admirer or new to Chihuly’s work, this exhibition offers unforgettable moments and celebrates the profound impact of one of the world’s most influential artists.
 
FEATURES: Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park - A destination marrying world-renowned sculpture and horticultural landscapes, the indoor and outdoor gardens and sculpture galleries hold something for the everyone to enjoy. The Gardens integrate the experience of striking gardens with fine art. Emphasized are horticultural displays showcasing a beautiful array of plants appropriate for the Midwest and specialized plants from regions around the world. Presentations range from planned and manicured to natural and native, changing colors and views with the seasons. The Sculpture Park features significant works of art within a variety of natural settings connected by waterways, meandering paths, lawns, meadows and quiet walkways. Although sculpture is found across the Meijer Gardens campus, more than 50 major works by masters Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Louise Bourgeois, Mark di Suvero, Richard Serra, Roxy Paine, Ai Weiwei and many others are featured in this area. While these timeless pieces form the bedrock of the collection, Meijer Gardens also embraces the ephemeral, offering a vibrant roster of rotating exhibitions that push the boundaries of contemporary sculpture. • Scenic Tram Tour - Discover Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park on a comfortable, 30-minute narrated tram tour! These accessible, eco-friendly electric trams provide an engaging overview of our beautiful gardens and world-class sculpture collection, making this a wonderful way to start your visit. • Windmill Island Gardens -Tour De Zwaan, the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States – still turning and grinding wheat into flour! Other Dutch treasures include a street organ gifted by the City of Amsterdam and a hand-painted antique carousel. Other Dutch features include stately Friesian horses, a water exhibit and Little Netherlands – a maquette of Dutch life in the 1840s when Holland was settled. Many buildings are replicas of those found in the Netherlands including the ones housing a gift shop where you can pick up an authentic Dutch treat! • Saugatuck Dune Rides - One of West Michigan's premier attractions! 40 minutes of entertainment, fun and excitement across breathtaking sand dunes.
