Gateway Arch - Ride a tram 630 feet to the top of iconic Gateway Arch, where we’ll find a 30-mile, awe-inspiring view of St. Louis including Busch Stadium and the Mississippi River.  Understand the river’s role in turn of the century commerce, while viewing the bridges and train trestle that span the mighty Mississippi. • Museum of Westward Expansion - Explore the new interactive, interpretive spaces, each with a unique historical theme (Colonial St. Louis, Jefferson’s Vision, Manifest Destiny, Riverfront Era, New Frontiers and Building the Arch). • Riverfront and Gardens - Time to walk through the newly restored grounds of the Arch and sit on the steps overlooking the Mighty Mississippi River. • Gateway Arch River Cruise - See the Gateway Arch from a different point of view as you relive the days when steamboats ruled the river.  Discover the mighty Mississippi’s important role in America’s past and the present-day on this one-hour cruise along St. Louis’s working downtown riverfront, narrated by the captain. • Cahokia Mounds - A civilization was born over 1,000 years ago on the Mississippi plains in what is now known as the city of Collinsville. Stroll through parts of the 2,200 acres of Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Historical Landmark. Visit the interpretative center to view the “City of the Sun” video and see scenes of what life may have been like during the time of the Mississippians. Climb the 147 steps to the top of Monks Mound, the largest manmade mound north of Mexico. (No meals included in this tour.)
