ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:  To enhance the ride for all passengers, alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the motorcoach on all TURNER tours.

BEE BUCK:  A bee buck is a “thank you” certificate in the amount shown, made out to you, which can be used on another multi-day TURNER vacation.  The amount will be taken off the price of the tour when you make the final payment.  The bee buck is good for six months after the return date of the tour on which you received it.  It is your responsibility to redeem your bee buck.  It must be used on a tour leaving before the certificate’s expiration date.  The bee buck is non-refundable, non-transferable, and the expiration date will not be extended.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellation after final payment due date, results in no refund of tour monies, unless you have purchased insurance coverage, and said insurance accepts and verifies your reason for canceling.

CARRY-ONS:  You may bring one (1) small carry-on for which you are responsible for all items.  Carry-on size cannot exceed 6"x8"x12" = 26 inch girth.  Please do not bring more than one carry-on; it takes space away from fellow travelers.

CELLULAR TELEPHONE USAGE:  We understand the need to stay in touch with family and friends back home.  We request that you refrain from using celluar telephones while on the motorcoach.  This will enable you and your traveling companions to receive full enjoyment of the tour.

DEPARTURE POINT AND TIME:  All TURNER tours depart from TURNER, located at 2135 E. Margaret Dr. (Ave.) Terre Haute, IN.  If we are traveling in your direction and time allows, we are more than happy to pick you up.  When making your reservation, ask about additional departure points.  These departure points must be pre-arranged and it is the travelers responsibility to reconfirm departure times.  The departure points are selected by TURNER based on convenience and safety. It is your responsibilty to confirm with location that you will be leaving your vehicle. All departure times are Terre Haute time.

DETAILED ITINERARY:  Detailed itinerary and luggage tag will be sent to you, two to three weeks before the departure date.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS:  If you have mild dietary restrictions or, are a vegetarian, it is important that you notify our office at the time of reservation.  As you would understand, it is difficult for our Tour Director to accommodate those who do not notify us at time of reservation.  If you have severe dietary restrictions, you may find this type of travel not for you.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:  A great way to give “someone who has everything” something they’ll really enjoy, a wonderful time on a bee travelers tour.  Don’t forget to tell your friends and family that a TURNER gift certificate is at the top of your “wish list.”  By contacting TURNER at 812-232-5252 or 800-873-5252 gift certificates can be mailed to the buyer or directly to the recipient.  Please select the amount or trip you would like to give that special someone and TURNER will handle the rest.

GRATUITIES:  Tipping is a standard practice today and, although it is not mandatory, most people show appreciation for a job well done.

Restaurant - Guideline for restaurant gratuities would be 15% to 20% of the bill.

Maid service - Guideline for maid gratuities would be $.50 to $1.00 per night.

Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director - Many Drivers and Tour Directors include extra services, and sightseeing that are not in the itinerary.  They do so on their own initiative, in order to ensure that your tour with them is extra special.  Consequently, tips are greatly appreciated by them and should be handled on an individual basis at your own discretion (rather than a group collection.)  Industry standards for the Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are $3 to $5 per person, per day of the tour.

On your TURNER tour, we take care of paying for the following gratuities for you,
•  Baggage Handling at Hotels
•  Step-on Tour Guides
•  Attractions and Meal service included in your tour itinerary

IDENTIFICATION:  It is most important to carry sufficient identification with you at all times.

When traveling within the United States:  You should carry with you, at all times, a valid drivers license or Government issued picture ID.

When traveling in any other Country (other than the United States):  Passports for all other countries are already required, also some countries require a Visa.  You should carry with you, at all times, a Passport (with at least 6 months validity) and a driver’s license or Government issued picture ID.  Look for the passport icon on required tour pages.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND WEAPONS:  Illegal substances and weapons are not allowed on our motorcoaches and tours.

INCIDENTAL CHARGES:  While staying at your lodging, costs that you may incur for phone calls, room service, cable TV movie charges, in-room bar, laundry, and other special services are your responsibility.  Please take care of these charges as soon as possible, either the night before or on the morning of departure, being mindful that your tour's departure is not delayed.

LAST MINUTE SIGN-UP:  If you are interested in a trip after the final payment date has passed, please call us to check availability.

LODGING:  Unless otherwise notified, the rooms will be run of the house.  If you have a special request, please advise us when making your reservations.  Requests may not always be possible, but we will do our best.  If you have a problem or complaint pertaining to any of your hotel rooms, please report it to the front desk or to your tour director immediately.  It is very difficult for us to deal with your complaint after the tour has returned home.  Unless otherwise notified, we will request a non-smoking room for you.

LUGGAGE:  Each passenger is allowed one (1) piece of luggage, not to exceed forty (40) pounds in weight.  Size cannot exceed 26”x21”x8” = 55 inch girth.  If your luggage is overweight/oversize, it will be your responsibility to load/unload it from  the motorcoach.  You may also bring one (1) small carry-on for which you are responsible for at all times.  Carry-on size cannot exceed 6”x8”x12” = 26 inch girth.  You may wish to cross pack luggage with your traveling companion. When packing bags for an overnight tour do NOT place valuables, (jewelry, cameras, car keys, prescriptions, medicines, etc.) in any suitcase that will not be kept with you at your seat.  While we make every effort to safeguard your belongings, frequently the bags are out of our control when being loaded, unloaded, or transported to a hotel room.  TURNER cannot accept the responsibility for baggage, which may be mishandled (damaged), or which you choose to leave in the motorcoach overnight.  Carrying important or valuable items separately insures that your trip will not be spoiled by the accidental loss of a bag.  When ending your tour, please be sure that you remove all of your items before departing the motorcoach.  TURNER does not accept the responsibility for returning or locating lost items.  No coolers (any size or style) allowed on the motorcoach.

MOBILITY PACE CHART:   In order to get full value from the travel experience, it is important to be in good mental and physical health.  Walking (in some cases long distance) and some step climbing are necessary to participate in the normal activities of our tour.  While almost everything is done for you on a tour, the Tour Director cannot provide sustained attention to individual clients.  In our office, the Tour Planner for each departure knows the itineraries well and would be happy to consult with you personally should you have questions regarding the amount of walking, elevations, etc. on a particular trip.

MOTORCOACHES:  TURNER reserves the right the change motorcoach size of the group.

NOISE LEVEL:  Your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director have the right to ask that noise be at certain levels on board the motorcoach.  You must have head phones when watching videos or listening to music on your personal device.

OUT OF TOWN TRAVELERS:  There’s no need to worry about last minute driving or road conditions when you stay close by, right in Terre Haute!  Contact our office for information regarding overnight lodging prior to, or after, your bee travelers vacations.

PAYMENT PLAN:  You are welcome to make payments on your multi day tours as you please, as long as it is paid in full by the required date.  One day tours must be paid in full at time of reservation.

PRICES AND TOUR COMPONENTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE:  We reserve the right to vary itineraries, prices, substitute facilities, hotels, or events of equal or better quality if necessary.

RIGHTS OF A GROUP (AS WHOLE):  One or two can ruin a trip for all.  TURNER reserves the right not to accept or retain in a group anyone whose lack of personal hygiene or poor general behavior, in the opinion of the Tour Director, impedes the operation of the tour and/or affects the rights of other travelers.  Problem travelers will kindly be asked to apply elsewhere.

SCHEDULED STOPS:  When the motorcoach stops for meals, attractions, etc., all passengers MUST disembark the motorcoach.  This is mandatory!

SEAT ROTATION (Mandatory on Multi-Day tours):  We have established a set seat rotation policy on all overnight tours.  It will be explained to you in detail on the tour. This ensures each tour member a different perspective each day.  Single Day tours: You will keep the seat you started in for the entire day.

SEATING ONBOARD THE MOTORCOACH:  We do not reserve seats onboard the motorcoach.  Seating is based on first come, first served.

SINGLE DAY DOCUMENTS:  Departure and return information is included on your receipt of payment.

SINGLE TRAVELERS:  We welcome single travelers.  If you don’t have someone to travel with, give us a call.  We’ll try to set you up with a traveler for double occupancy.  If you wish to remain a single or we are unable to find someone to share, inquire about single rates.  However, due to the double seat configuration on the motorcoach, you will have to sit with another solo passenger in order to accommodate passengers traveling together.  This also applies to the third person traveling with a triple.

TOBACCO PRODUCTS:  No tobacco products are allowed on board the motorcoach for all TURNER tours.  This includes smoking, e-cigarettes, or chewing tobacco.  We will make rest stops approximately every three hours.

TOUR CANCELLATIONS: Each tour in our brochure is priced on the assumption that a particular minimum number of persons will participate.  Thirty days prior to a departure date, the reservation list is checked to see if there are enough reservations.  If the list is reasonably close to the required number, a decision is usually made to run the tour.  However, if very few sign up, a decision to cancel the tour must be made.  If this happens those who have made a reservation are notified of the cancellation and their money will be transferred to another tour or refunded.  TURNER DOES NOT like to cancel tours.

TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE:  (Cancellation/Medical Insurance): Sometimes it happens - an emergency at home or a sickness causes people to cancel their vacation or interrupt their trip.  Because these unfortunate events can occur, Travel Protection Insurance is available with all TURNER travel arrangements.  This high-quality Travel Protection Insurance covers your vacation investment, your belongings, and most importantly, you.  Ask our tour staff for more information.

TRIP NUMBER:  Please use the trip # (i.e. NEW000019) located at the bottom of each page.  This is the tour identification code, which has been assigned to each tour.  This number is very important and must be used when making deposits and final payments.
