|We always call this trip Oakwood Resort because that is where we stay and it is beautiful but this year this tour is different from previous years. We will spend time at Winona Lake with lunch at the Boathouse Restaurant. Relax with an overnight stay at Lake Wawasee and experience the historic Boat in Church Service. Webster Lake will be where we enjoy a cruise. Two days … three lakes … four meals … and an unlimited amount of fun.

Tells the story of beautiful Winona Lake from 1895 – 1968. The museum includes four galleries located within historic Westminster Hall on the campus of Grace College. Visitors will learn about the development of Spring Fountain Park, Winona’s significance as a Chautauqua site, the energetic evangelist Billy Sunday, and gospel music pioneer Homer Rodeheaver. Enjoy a tour of the amazing, celebrity-filled history of Winona Lake! • Billy Sunday Home Museum - Former player for the Chicago White Stockings (now the Chicago Cubs), and Billy Sunday inspired millions with a captivating mixture of theatrics, humor, and hellfire, settled in Winona Lake in 1911 His widow, “Ma” Sunday, continued to live in the family home until her death in 1957. You will be able to visit their well-preserved home and hear heartwarming tales about this special family. • Oakwood Resort - Indiana’s Premier Resort Hotel and is located on the waterfront on Lake Wawasee and has it’s own private beach. The lake is massive – has 25 miles of shoreline and is the largest natural lake in Indiana. There are chairs to lounge in the sun or under a tree, a fire pit, games, and kayaks for the hotel guests to use throughout their stay. Oakwood Resort offers panoramic views and amazing sunsets. • Boat in Church Service - A Christian service that takes place by water and land every Sunday morning. Oakwood will have chairs on the lawn for our group so that we may take part in this historic Service. a phenomenal worship experience! This one of a kind, half hour service praises God with special music and a devotion designed to turn your heart heavenward. • Dixie Sternwheeler - Indiana’s oldest sternwheel tour boat cruising beautiful Webster Lake in North Webster, since 1929. Refurbished and now on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Dixie offers 90-minute cruises with narration and music.
