Circa 21 Dinner Theater had been on our radar for years and we were finally able to visit on a mystery tour in 2024. As expected we loved everything about it and wanted to create a new tour for 2025 so here it is ... Jazz and John Deere! This tour is a great mix Jazz Music and Artists and John Deere Production and Products. A little something for everyone!

HIGHLIGHT CITY: Davenport, IA • Moline, IL • Rock Island, IL

FEATURES:  John Deere Davenport Works Factory Tour - Enjoy a one to one-half hours riding tour through this factory. They manufacture 4WD loaders, motor graders, articulated dump trucks, skidders, and wheeled feller bunchers. Long pants and closed toe/heel shoes required. (If this tour becomes unavailable, we will replace with Cinnamon Ridge Farms, a robotic dairy farm tour.) • Circa 21 Dinner Theater - Circa '21 is housed in the historic Fort Armstrong Theatre which opened on January 19, 1921 at the height of the silent movie era. Opening night featured the film “Midsummer Madness” by William DeMille, a ten piece orchestra, as well as other musical and comedic presentations. Lila Lee, co-star of “Midsummer Madness” even appeared in person. Much excitement was generated when congratulatory telegrams arrived from Paramount Pictures President Adolf Zukor, Cecil B. DeMille, and comedian Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle. The theatre originally contained a 1,566 seat auditorium, a dance salon, a photography studio, Hickey Brothers Cigar Store and Soda Fountain, a nursery, and attractive green rooms for the actors. • Chicago “The Musical” - With over 25 years on Broadway and 6 Tony Awards, Chicago is the universal tale of fame, fortune, and all that jazz! In roaring ’20s Chicago, chorus girl Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal. Featuring spectacular choreography and show-stopping songs such as “We Both Reached For The Gun,” “Cellblock Tango,” “All That Jazz, and “Razzle Dazzle.”  Chicago has everything that makes the theater bedazzling! •  Bix Beiderbecke Museum - After nearly a century, the music of legendary cornetist, pianist, and composer Bix Beiderbecke still draws awestruck admiration from fans around the world. Treasured recordings keep alive his unique tone, melodic style, lyrical phrasing, and heart-stopping improvisations. • John Deere Pavilion and Store  - Tractors, sprayers, construction equipment, lawn tractors, and more. And they’re smarter than ever. Learn what they do and how they impact our world, Sit in the cab of some of John Deere’s biggest and smallest machines. Draw inspiration from the stories of their employees and customers. See vintage machines up close and explore interactive exhibits. Discover how their heritage connects us to our future. • Lagomarcinos - No stop to the Quad Cities is complete without a homemade sweet treat. Lagomarcino’s is so much more than a longstanding Quad City attraction. It’s an American story of family and tradition that has continued for more than a hundred years. Today our confections are still made in our original copper kettle kitchen in the original Moline location. Anyone who has sat in one of our handcrafted mahogany booths while sipping on a Green River or has undertaken the near-impossible task of choosing from our selection of candies knows at least part of Lagomarcino’s story. Now come be a part of that story, one that is sure to continue for at least another hundred years!
