This tour is going to showcase some of the treasures of Northern Indiana. Places we have driven past for years as we have made our way to other destinations.  We will spend two nights at the Potawatomi Inn which is nestled in the beautiful 1,260 acre Pokagon State Park. The historic inn features 126 guest rooms that sits on the shore of one of Indiana’s largest lakes, Lake James. The inn boasts a spacious 10,000-square-foot banquet and conference center, two onsite restaurants, an indoor pool, a hot tub and sauna, a game room, multiple cozy fireplaces throughout, and family friendly activities year-round.

FEATURES: Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum - This automotive mecca exhibits over 120 cars ranging from 1894 to 1999 and automotive displays on three floors. The museum has the greatest and most extensive collection of Auburn Cord and Duesenberg automobile in the world. Experience the passion from this great era as you step back through time. Walk the same hallways as the automotive giants of yesterday, and you get the impression of what a day at the Auburn Automobile Company must have been like in the early 1930’s. • National Auto and Truck Museum - Something to offer everyone. They have the cars and trucks that excited you when you were younger. And ones you learned to drive in, or that your parents owned. They have prototypes and one of a kind vehicles too. • Mid America Windmill Museum - More than 50 American, water-pumping windmills have been restored and are on display in the museum barn and on the grounds seen via a graveled walking path.  One highlight of the museum is a replica of the Robertson Post Windmill, a single stone wooden grist mill with a 52-foot diameter wind wheel. The original Robertson Post was shipped from England and erected on the James River near Jamestown, Virginia in the 1620’s.  •  Annie Oakley Natural Perfumery - The Perfume Factory Tour  is where the creative perfumery process takes place on your perfume factory tour, including the bench lab where fragrances are created and blended, and the factory where they are bottled and readied for distribution. You will experience first-hand perfumes being hand-made and have an amazing sensory experience with some of the world’s most exquisite perfume essences - including those considered rare and vintage. Sample, Shop and Create Your Own Personal Fragrance Upon completion of the tour, you will have the opportunity to sample more world class fragrances and essences, shop our gift area, and create your personal blend at the Mixing Bar. •  DeBrand Fine Chocolates - Visit the beautiful corporate headquarters to see their chocolatiers in action. You’ll enjoy a short video on the history of DeBrand and view their chocolate making kitchens where you’ll see the artisan process involved in making our coveted chocolates along with tasting several gourmet chocolate samples.  •  The Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library - We will enjoy a short guided tour followed by a program to learn more about how the process starts. This center is where you’ll have access to the nation’s largest public genealogy research center with in-person assistance, physical records, and digital resources designed for everyone from beginners to the most seasoned family history researchers.
